The sudden death of the 100 Bogota tribes people leads four explorers, two scientists and two reporters, to Mount Hedé in Colombia to solve the mystery.

A mountainous lake has inexplicably become acidic. Earthquakes turn an adventure into a deadly risks taking. They discover an abandoned mine hiding the most lethal of black market goods from spy satellites.

It is up to the four to stop a volcano about to erupt and release the deadly contents of the mine into the atmosphere.
